As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Divisional Champion to join our Configuration Management team in Flagstaff, AZ.

In this role, you will be responsible for the global return on investment and effective use of Gore's PLM information system. You will take the lead in defining and executing PLM rollouts that will integrate the continuous-improvement needs of the business units/functions across the Medical Products Division (MPD) and maintain a high level of system reliability. This role is global and divisional in scope.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about leading development and implementation of PLM solutions in support of state-of-the art implantable medical devices

- Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
Responsibilities include:
- Driving understanding and implementation of PLM system functionality, including new locations, features, upgrades, and fixes to the existing platform
- Coordinating business requests to identify opportunities to streamline business operations by optimizing the effectiveness of the PLM system functionality
- Championing software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices in conjunction with quality procedures and practices
- Facilitating cross-business-unit communications and solutions
- Ensuring standards are shared globally across business units
- Focusing on business priorities and coordinating supporting PLM strategic initiatives with business unit plans
- Leading PLM projects or initiatives and developing the processes/expectations required to maintain an effective sustainment and optimization team
- Maintaining routine interaction with ERP, IT, and Quality teams to drive increased system integration
- Partnering with SQA to maintain and drive regulatory compliance strategy
- Owning the collective view of PLM implementation projects throughout MPD and planning resources accordingly
- Managing upgrades and adding new system functionality
- Developing and monitoring metrics to assess the effectiveness of PLM usage
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in/with:
- Project management or information system coordination
- PLM business analysis or configuration management
- Proven experience integrating IT solutions into a business environment
- Strong working knowledge of configuration-management concepts, product lifecycle management, and quality systems
- Proven team leadership skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to work across diverse groups and teams with a common goal
Desirable Job Qualifications
- Certification in configuration management or PLM
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment
