Job Description

As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for an experienced, high-energy Desktop and Network Support Associate to join our IT team in Flagstaff, AZ.

If you are searching for a company where you can make a difference, we're looking for you. In this role, you will:- Join a team of associates responsible for the support of IT applications and infrastructure used by the Medical Products Division's manufacturing and support facilities
- Perform desktop and network support conforming to both divisional and corporate standards
- Quickly and accurately diagnose third- and fourth-level desktop incidents, providing timely resolution and professional communication to the customer
- Spend approximately 80% of your time focused on end-user support via remote access and phone and up to 20% as a resource for other IT projects or needs.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing PC hardware assets
- Imaging, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining technology in office, conference, training, and manufacturing areas
- Conducting end-user training
- Managing projects
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications
- One of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field plus 2 years' experience installing and maintaining PC hardware and software in an office environment, OR
- Associate degree in a computer-related field plus 3 years' experience installing and maintaining PC hardware and software in an office environment, OR
- Five years' experience installing and maintaining PC hardware and software in an office environment
- Experience providing desktop and network support in an office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skills in analyzing and troubleshooting computer problems
- Strong initiative and self-motivation
- Willingness to:
- Follow standards and procedures, including documentation of processes
- Respond to critical or emergency after-hour business needs
- Grow and develop within the commitment, keeping up to date with current trends in the industry
- Ability to:
- Work effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical associates in a team environment
- Provide quality customer service
Desirable Job Qualifications
- IT industry-recognized certifications from CompTia, Microsoft, Cisco, or others
- Experience in/with:
- Leading or managing IT projects
- Teaching or training
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Project-management and teaching skills
- Analytical approach to troubleshooting hardware and software problems within domain environments, TCP/IP, HP printers, Lotus Notes, and wireless networks
