As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team in Flagstaff, AZ.

In this role, you will partner with and represent the Medical Products Division's Labs and Sciences function as an IT team member, serving as the liaison between Labs and Sciences and the IT organization. You will lead the Labs and Sciences in evaluating, recommending, designing, and driving the implementation of IT/business solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Labs and Sciences to understand business requirements for information system projects
• Serving as a core team member for Labs and Sciences IT projects
• Conducting analysis and documenting business requirements for the design and implementation of system solutions
• Championing project-related IT processes to ensure transparency of workload and inclusion of impacted IT teams, such as the data center, desktop support, and IT procurement
• Partnering with and assisting business teams in analyzing business processes to provide recommendations for continuous improvement by leveraging existing IT solutions
• Monitoring and managing system updates, fixes, and enhancements for the function
• Assisting in system testing as needed by developing test plans and scripts and documenting test results
• Investigating system problems or issues to provide recommendations and alternatives
• Working collaboratively with the Business Intelligence team(s) to define data needs and design reports for the business offices and support teams
• Working collaboratively and building relationships with other analysts, processing units, and Gore teams

Qualifications

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 3 years of experience performing business analysis or business systems analysis
• At least 1 year working in a regulated medical-products environment
• Knowledge of information systems process design
• Knowledge of business practices in a regulated medical-products environment
• IT systems expertise
• Demonstrated ability to successfully complete projects/priorities through previous work experience

Desirable Job Qualifications

• Experience in/with:
  • Gathering and documenting user requirements
  • Troubleshooting business system applications
• Knowledge and background in a scientific field of study and/or scientific terminology
• Knowledge of:
  • Medical imaging systems and related business practices
  • Preclinical data-acquisition systems
  • Project management principles used in software implementation projects
• Skill in analyzing and developing effective solutions for organizational problems
