FlagJobs started after the realization of how hard it was to find a good job board for Flagstaff. There wasn't anything particular to the niche that was Flagstaff's job market.

With students arriving every August and leaving every May and with the upsweep in commerce during the tourist season, the job market in Flagstaff, Arizona changes constantly and local businesses are left to contend with a constantly shifting pool of potential employees.

Thus was born FlagJobs.net, a job board with Flagstaff at its core and focusing on simplicity. Too many job boards convolute their listings with advertisements or those near-worthless "US-Nationwide" search results. FlagJobs tries to instill a sense of ease while searching for jobs, which is why we place our results on the front page.

We also do the dirty work of getting our job postings out to the community; through social media marketing (fancy term for Facebook and Twitter) along with paid advertisements on major search engines.

We build the network of people needed to get our jobs into the hands of those who are really looking for them — the people who want to work in Flagstaff and want to apply now.

Our goal is to follow the bleeding-edge marketing trends, staying agile so as to never encounter the dreaded can't-add-that-feature-because-we're-too-bloated (a mouthful we know) — one that we've kept in mind from day one in the design and strategy of FlagJobs.net.

When our costs are down we can pass the savings onto people like yourself — with a cleaner and more streamlined viewing experience for the job searchers, and lower prices for the job advertisers.
